Thank you for shopping with Sommelight. We want you to love your Sommelight candle as much as we loved crafting it.
Returns & Exchanges
If something isn’t quite right, you may request a return or exchange within 14 days of delivery.
To be eligible, the item must be:
Unused and unlit
In its complete original packaging, including any boxes, dust covers, or protective materials
In the same condition in which it was received
Because our candles are consumable items and for quality assurance purposes:
Burned or partially used candles cannot be returned
Missing or damaged original packaging will void the return
Items sent back without contacting us first will not be accepted
- Return shipping costs are the responsibility of the customer unless the product is defective or incorrect.
We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service to ensure the candle arrives safely.
Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of approval. If approved, your refund will be issued to your original payment method within 5–7 business days. Please note that your bank or card provider may take additional time to process the refund.
- The fastest way to make an exchange is to complete the return and then place a new order once your return is accepted.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
In the unlikely event that your candle arrives damaged or you receive the wrong item, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
We will replace the item or offer a refund, and Sommelight will cover all shipping costs for damaged or incorrect orders.
Damaged or Incorrect Items
The following items cannot be returned:
- Gift cards
- Promotional or final-sale items
- Used or burned candles
- Items sent back without contacting us first
European Union 14 day cooling off period
Notwithstanding the above, if the merchandise is being shipped into the European Union, you have the right to cancel or return your order within 14 days, for any reason and without a justification. As above, your item must be in the same condition that you received it, unworn or unused, with tags (if applicable), and in its original packaging. You’ll also need the receipt or proof of purchase.
